George Johns has been in the adventure travel business for most of his adult life. He has taken travelers to India, Africa, Antarctica, Egypt, Alaska, and countless other exotic locales. But he contends that the wildest landscape is located between our ears. And that is where he takes us in Monkey Mind, his one-man show playing Thursdays in January at the People?s Improv Theater. Monkey Mind takes us from a silent meditation retreat in Southwest Missouri, to the National Yoyo Championships in Chico, California, to the Galapagos Islands and back on a hilarious adventure of the soul.
