Episode 1: Money, Take Run

"A freakishly imaginative comedy bomb from the brain of writer and director Wayne S. Rawley" (The Seattle Stranger)

Theatre audiences in Seattle and the Bay Area have already fallen in love with Money & Run, an "action-adventure serial for the stage" that chronicles the exploits of two outlaw lovers: the one-eyed, square-jawed Jimmy Jake McAllister, AKA Run, and the hottie with the heart of gold, Robby Jean Marshall, AKA Money.

It's a High-Octane Homage to '80s TV action/adventure dramas, full of furious fist fights, mad chases and wrongs to right, all under a heart big as all Texas. Think Dukes of Hazzard meets Romeo and Juliet, with a little A-Team and 3 Tbsp Hart to Hart thrown in. Or as one Seattle's alternative weekly put it , it's "a hybrid Three's Company meets Natural Born Killers. In a good way." (The Seattle Stranger)

Now, at long last, Los Angeles audiences will get their chance to experience "one of the funniest and most original bits of nonsense to be seen for a long time." (Seattle Weekly) Starting April 20th at the Promenade Playhouse in Santa Monica, you can catch the pilot episode of this late-night sensation in all its gut-busting glory. Be warned, though: once you meet these characters, you just might get hooked! Lucky for you there's plenty more episodes where this one came from.

"While you may think you have more entertaining things to do at 10:30 p.m. on a Friday night, trust me. You don't." (The Seattle Stranger).

Opens, Friday, April 20, 2007 and runs Friday and Saturday night at 10:30 through June 9. Tickets $15.00 includes one complimentary beverage.
