Mom's Night Out
To Benefit The Good Samaritan
Hamilton County, Indiana - 3/16/09 - March 26 is a night for moms to relax, kick back, and give back.
It's the first annual Mom's Night Out. It will be a night for shopping, free wine tasting, and giving.
The event will feature many different booths from local businesses, featuring everything from custom-made purses to stroller fittings. There will be door prizes and a lot of fun.
The event is free to attend, guests are asked to bring at least one nonperishable food item to donate to Good Samaritan. The Good Samaritan Network was formed in March of 1995, and it is a network of non-profits that offers training of valuable life skills through a series of courses.
The courses are designed to implement people with necessary skills needed for them to be able to provide for themselves and their family. GSN also takes steps to changing the lives of the needy to break the cycle of poverty and making poor choices.
The overall mission of Good Samaritan Network is to, "demonstrate the love of Christ by serving people in need in Hamilton County, through the empowerment of our member ministries, church partners, and our community in order to transform lives by equipping individuals with skills to make positive life changes."
Attending Mom's Night Out would not only mean a night of pampering and shopping, but a night of giving back to the community also. The event takes place on March 26 from 6-8 p.m. at Ami Gallery, located at 240 East Main Street in Carmel.
Free parking is available behind the Lions Club.
