Sounds From the Other City, Comfortable on a Tightrope and Bring Your Own Light Present...

An event in the dark, powered only by you, the audience. Bring a headlamp, a candle, an led suit, anything. Without it this gig will be in total darkness. For this event we will be investigating moonlight and its effect, we have specifically invited two musicians who are inspired by the moon and on the night of a full moon we will be turning ALL lights off within Islington Mill and inviting the audience to Bring Their Own Light.

Playing live will be:

Molly Nilsson

Having played at Sounds From the Other City last year, MOLLY NILSSON returns. She has been producing music and running her own label since 2007, releasing 4 albums of beautifully evocative listening. Combining swathes of nostalgic pop with the cleverest of lyrics she's produced some of the smartest and most touching songs of recent years.
A swedish native, Molly moved to Berlin to set up the DARK SKIES ASSOCIATION, which she used as a gloriously DIY platform in creating her sonic landscape
Covered by the likes of John Maus, Molly is one to catch live.
