Scapin, a rarely produced comedy by Moliere, rounds out our 2005 Summer Season of free classical theatre in Central Park. The age-old tale of fathers arguing with their sons over love and money sets the stage for this hysterical masterpiece of the French commedia dell'arte. Come see how the household servants turn the tables--out scheme their masters, bring love to their friends, and, in the meantime, line their own pockets with gold! Music and laughter fill the air in this delightful slapstick-filled comedy for all generations!

Scapin by Moliere Thursday through Sunday evenings, August 4th-August 28th at 7:00 pm

All of our roving performances begin just inside the entrance to Central Park at 103rd & Central Park West and are Free to the Public--no tickets or reservations are required. Just show up!
