The places we visit, the things we carry, the marks we make, the pictures we share, the ideas we capture, the tastes we savor, the gifts we choose…we make portraits with each choice, and each choice makes up an ever-changing portrait of who we are.

Join Moleskine for an evening of interactive portrait-making.

This one-night only event features projects by creatives working in sound, text, visual art, photography, food events, and technology. Perlin Studios and Dana Karwas will present an interactive sound installation that uses motion tracking technology and sound design to create a portrait of participants in motion. Brian Quinn, an organizer of underground supper-clubs in New York, will facilitate a wine tasting that illustrates a portrait of each participant's personal palate. Emilie Baltz is erecting a photo studio that mixes illustration and photography to capture guest portraits that are part on the page and part in the lens. Phillip Stearns is creating a soundscape to capture a portrait of a single Moleskine messenger bag and the world of sound that surrounds it. Zetalab’s popular Moleskine Words project will be on display, featuring 400 word stamps that guests can use to customize Moleskine cahier notebooks. Author Amanda Stern and artist/art-educator Nathan Sensel will facilitate Moleskine Words and guide guests through creating word portraits throughout the evening.
