Charlie Chaplin stars in this side-splitting comedy about the perils of modern industrialization. Made in 1936, the same year that the New York Photo League, featured in the current exhibition The Radical Camera: New York's Photo League 1936-1951, began, Chaplin used his comic Little Tramp character to critique the great social issues of his time.

Free matinee screenings are presented in conjunction with the Museum's admission-free first Tuesdays of the month.
