(28, Boat Quay) From November 2005, the meetings are being held on the first Monday of every month. These meetings are casual, free and open to ALL interested.

An open community for mobile professionals, MobileMonday Singapore aims to promote the mobile industry and encourage collaboration and networking among industry members and their organizations by presenting opportunities for personal and virtual contacts.
?MobileMonday Singapore is the event you should attend if you are on the hunt for new industry trends, looking for a new partner to expand your business, or seeking new career opportunities? said Chris Chandler, MobileMonday Singapore co-founder and regional product manager for Yahoo! Mobile. ?MobileMonday Singapore makes room for all participants in the mobile industry form operators and handset manufacturers to startups and content providers and everyone in between.?

MobileMonday was established in September 2000 in Finland by mobile, telecom and media industry professionals. Its primary activities are the community?s face-to-face gatherings on every first Monday of the month and virtual networking on the MobileMonday.net website and newsletter. The unprecedented success of MobileMonday Finland spawned similar informal groups to mushroom the world over. Today, regular MobileMonday events are organized in Helsinki, San Francisco and Tokyo and have been exceedingly well received. The last such meeting in Tokyo was attended by over 250 professionals!

MobileMonday Singapore aims to:
 Initiate dialogue on hot industry topics amongst people working in the business.
 Enable informal networking among industry participants in a casual environment.
 Aid companies identify new business opportunities.
 Offer a platform to entrepreneurs seeking investment.
 Become the voice of the mobile industry.

Each MobileMonday Singapore event will consist of two to three pre-arranged presentations followed by a short Q&A session. These 10-12 minutes long presentations will cover topics that are industry-specific and could benefit the community as a whole.
