even worse, the next release, or maybe it already happened, is going to the android challenge developers only.

not too much android news at this meeting - instead i will demo the FIC FreeRunner cell phone. it went for sale on July 4th and is supposed to run the OpenMoko project software but instead shipped with the QT/Qtopia software which was further along as far as basic phone functionality. both are open source projects.

I noticed that the last release of the Android SDK was on March 3, 2008. I'm disappointed that Google doesn't have more frequent releases.
