New York, NY—Bilevel restaurant and performance space Mo Pitkin’s House of Satisfaction presents its One Year Anniversary Extravaganza on Wednesday, September 6 at 7:30 and 10:00 PM. A marathon evening of music and comedy celebrating the first anniversary of the already-beloved East Village venue, the One Year Anniversary Extravaganza will feature performances by legendary and emerging downtown artists and performers like Lenny Kaye, Laura Cantrell, Christina Courtin’s Running Kicks and Eugene Mirman. Both shows, presented at Mo Pitkin’s Sadie’s Lounge, are hosted by 'Mr. Showbiz" Murray Hill. Tickets to each show are $25 and available at http://www.ticketweb.com.

The 7:30 PM show features singer-songwriter Laura Cantrell, Mo Pitkins co-owner and Laptop front man Jesse Hartman with improv-comedy hip-hop group Freestyle Love Supreme, rock/soul ensemble Christina Courtin’s Running Kicks, comedy troupe The Shark Show, performance artist Phoebe Legere, female-female impersonator World Famous *BOB* and comedians Eugene Mirman, Todd Levin, Jon Friedman, Dave Hill, Andy Borowitz and Seth Herzog.

The 10:00 PM bill includes performances by Laura Cantrell, Jesse Hartman & Freestyle Love Supreme, Christina Courtin’s Running Kicks, The Shark Show, Phoebe Legere, World Famous *BOB*, Todd Levin, Jon Friedman, Andy Borowitz and Seth Herzog as well as comedy troupe Oh My God, guitarist and songwriter Lenny Kaye, comedian Nick Kroll and conceptual performer Julie Atlas Muz.

The celebration spills over to Downstairs at Mo’s, Mo Pitkin’s experimental new second stage, with the weekly Mo Knows Songwriters showcase featuring Dawn Landis, Will Hawkins, James Maddock and O.T.I.S at 7:30 PM and sketch comedy troupe Pupu Platter at 10:00 PM. Tickets to both Downstairs at Mo’s shows are $5.

With a mission to keep the spirit of the East Village alive while providing a showcase for emerging artists from far and wide, bilevel restaurant and performance space Mo Pitkin’s keeps its four rooms busy seven nights a week. In its first year, Mo Pitkin’s stages have already been graced by an eclectic array of artists including Debbie Harry, Al Franken, Moby, Jimmy Fallon and Paul Schaefer. To boot, the kitchen and bar serve Judeo-Latino instant classics like the Famous Cuban Reuben and Manischevetinis, spurring the New York Times to tag Mo’s as “a melding of East Village traditions, culinary and otherwise.”
