Mo' Motown will hit The Strand's stage starting with a patriotic opening night on July 4th and continuing through the weekend. Mo' Motown is a musical revue that tells the story of the origins of Motown Records, founded by Berry Gordy in 1959, through a high energy performance featuring the best of Motown. The record label completely changed the sound of music, giving Americans everything they wanted in music: from anguish and romance to joy and dance.
