Cellist Aaron Wolff, winner of the junior division of the Minnesota Sinfonia Young Artist Competition, also won prizes last year in competitions sponsored by the Schubert Club and Thursday Musical. An eighth grader at Saint Paul Academy, he plays in the St. Paul Blackhawks Youth Soccer League and in a rock band with his older brothers, Alex and Matthew. A Twin Cities native whose family moved here when his father, Hugh Wolff, was appointed music director of the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, he has lived five years in London, England and is fluent in King's English and cockney. A cello student of Katja Linfield, he plays a half-sized eighteenth century cello.
