Overview

The International Association of Business Professionals, a organization geared towards providing much needed social outlets for professionals ages 21 and older, will be hosting an exclusive music/fashion event on Saturday, November 6th, 2010. The purpose is to help local talents get to that next level in their careers by providing exposure from not only the DFW community but from exclusive persons within those industries as well. While at the same time, helping St. Phillips Community Center (The Space) in continuing to better and provide for the community. Many talented people, especially local talent, do not get to receive the exposure and help they need to become successful and with an event like this one, we are going above and beyond our normal duties to make the impossible, possible. And that is where TIABP comes in, we would like to expose this event to help expand the knowledge of talent that we have right here in the DFW Metroplex and to help these participants achieve goals that they’ve worked so hard to accomplish but just didn’t have the right connections. With this being our 1st year producing such a fashion event, we expect to help many potential stars to showcase their talents like never before! This will be biggest show we’ve ever had complete with a celebration after set to help launch our 1st year of successful community and business involvement.
Event Information

“My Life Your Entertainment” 2010 will be held Saturday, November 6th, 2010 from 7p-11p at Excuses Extreme Café & Art Bar located at 3025 Main Street, Dallas, TX 75226. This will be a Fashion, Music, and Art Expo done by all participating local artists. During the show refreshments will be served and announcements about the local talents, contributing sponsors and charities, supporters and raffle will be made.
Who is Served, Who Benefits, or Who is Affected

DFW has so many talented individuals that we just do not know anything about, the community needs to acknowledge that Dallas has so much More to offer the world. TIABP believes that it is indeed difficult to succeed in any career whether professional or creative without the proper contacts you need to get there. Degree or No Degree, money or no money, sometimes it really is “Who” you know that gets you to where you want to go and need to be. And if by any way we can help those talented individuals get to where they need to be, and have the community support them at the same time, we will do so. Thus, our reason for combining art, music, fashion and design, to give all those with creative talents big or small, the opportunity of a lifetime. A large portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the St. Phillips Community Center (The Space) to help them have a much needed A/C unit installed in their community center so they may continue to help children during the hot summer months. Open donations will also be accepted and appreciated. All in all, this event helps out the entire community in so many ways.
