Mitch Wood's Boogie Woogie Holiday Extravaganza December 4, 2010

World-renowned pianist Mitch Woods gathers his favorite piano pounders for a festival of the world's best boogie-woogie piano. Mitch will host and perform in tonight's premier festival that featuring 4 of his favorite pianists in this foot stompin' style that is the root of rock n' roll, swing, blues, and much of American popular music. Each pianist will perform a 30 minute set solo, with an all-star rhythm section featuring their unique style and interpretation of this great musical form. For the finale, all 5 pianists jam together culminating in a rousing finale as they jump from piano to keys, fingers flying in a frenzy of boogie-woogie rhythms.
