You’re cordially invited to celebrate the 7th Anniversary of the Mission Neighborhood Resource.

Over the past seven years, the Mission Neighborhood Resource Center has become a beloved institution and lifeline for thousands homeless residents of the Mission District. Once just a hopeful vision in the eyes of a dedicated group of neighbors and activists, the MNRC is now a comprehensive, multi-service center located at 16th and Capp Streets and open to the community for over 6o hours a week. We offer peer-based drop-in services, supportive case management, medical and mental health care, education, training and community programs.

MNRC has broken new ground in harm-reduction services with our locally and nationally recognized programs for Latino immigrants and women. The MNRC community has been instrumental in advocating for the housing rights of homeless immigrants, helping the City of San Francisco to preserve neighborhood shelters and create culturally-specific supportive housing. Our Ladies Night Collaborative is the only program of its kind in the United States—bringing together eleven community-based organizations to provide a variety of services for women living in the streets and hotels of the Mission. It is also San Francisco’s only syringe exchange for women.

Above all, MNRC strives to provide services with dignity, understanding and respect and to build a strong community working to end homelessness.
