Maus Haus, Rainbow Arabia, Pierre Le Robot With the advent of the robotic vacuum, and all the other little helpers that are soon to come, there will be nothing else to do but dance away our ambivalence. This line-up of electro-pop bands creates anthems for our fated futures. The San Francisco sextet Maus Haus makes mirthfully morbid '60s-inspired neo electro on top of spastic whirring synths, keys, drums and bass guitar. Los Angeles duo Rainbow Arabia fuses Afrobeat with belly-dance percussion and tops it with sweet, seductive serenades that would charm a snake. Bay Area pair Pierre Le Robot perform facing each other, obliging its dual keyboards to kiss. Mediating its squealing plea "dance, dance, dance" on "The Janjaweed of Darfur" with rhythmic throbs, the twosome tends to turn its audience into a sweaty, gyrating throng. 9:30 p.m. $10. All ages. Bottom of the Hill, 1233 17th St., S.F. (415) 621-4455. www.bottomofthehill.com. (M.B.V.D.)
