Mission Accomplished - Everest Base Camp Presentation July 18, 2009

A Team of 5 friends from Hyderabad went on a trek for 15 days to theEverest Base Camp and Kalapathar Peak Nepal in June July 2009.The training started 4 months in advance in Hyderabad, the actualadventure started in Kathmandu, the team trekked deep into themountains through the homelands of the Sherpa people, among theirvillages and monasteries, with distant views of Everest and Ama Dablampeaks, and to the Everest base camp at 17,500 feet and Kalapather peakat 18,000 feet.The Team will now try to share with you their experiences, photos andvideos, however the scale of the Himalayas is an experience in itselfwhich needs to be felt personally and is very hard to put into wordsor pictures.Agenda1) Welcome Address and introduction2) Presentations - listen it all in their own words, firsthand accountof the trek, the idea, the plan, the training, the journey, the joy,the thrills and the difficulties.3) Q A session4) Award Ceremony5) Tea Break, NetworkingAbout us: Hyderabad Adventure Club is a non-profit community groupconsisting of like minded individuals from Hyderabad who areinterested in outdoor adventure activity
