Minnesota Orchestra: Bernstein's Mass January 23, 2009

Utterly unique in its fusion of theater and concert hall, 'Mass' grapples with the deepest questions of faith and doubt - and showcases Bernstein's wildest and most touching music. In the center of this swirling creation, with more than 250 performers on stage, is the Celebrant (portrayed by audience favorite Raymond Ayers), whose faith is questioned to its core. The orchestra isj oined by the Minnesota Chorale, Minnesota Boychoir and the James Sewel lBallet.
