FESTIVUS ...FOR THE REST OF US!

FINALLY, a party in December about NOTHING...and you’re invited!
Join us on Thursday, December 23rd at our inaugural Minglers Festivus at The Helm!

In a unique display of Festivus camaraderie and 'bon vivant', The Helm is extending a warm invitation to all Vancouver Minglers to partake in the passion of this special "Festivus...For The Rest of Us!" evening. Modeled after the famous supper clubs of Montreal and New York, the four young, enthusiastic owners will surely make this a Minglers night to remember.

The Helm features “farm-to-fork” plates, delicious cocktails infused with home made syrups and preserves, a carefully selected wine list and a warm, elegant urban setting. Beginning with after-work cocktails, the Helm seamlessly transitions into dinner and then a stylish nightclub.

(AKA Downtown Ingie Brown)
Festivus first created and celebrated in 1966 by the by the O’Keefe family, was later brought to the attention of pop culture through Seinfeld screenwriter, Daniel O’Keefe. The hilarious TV show about nothing quickly adapted all aspects of Festivus. If it’s good enough for the Costanza’s its good of enough for Minglers.

Tradition states that Festivus is not over until the head of the household (that’s me in this case) is defeated in a feat of strength by a person at the Festivus celebration chosen and challenged by me. Don’t be timid, the person may decline if they have something else to do, such as eat, drink, mingle, etc. (You should know, I have been training).
