"Mindscapes" by Touchstone Artists at WVSA ARTiculate Gallery April 15, 2010

On April 15th, from 5:30-7:30 PM, the ARTiculate Gallery at WVSA ARTs Connection will hold an opening of “Mindscapes” by Touchstone Gallery Artists. “Mindscapes” will explore landscapes of the mind in both abstract and representational ways. Most of the works reveal a reality that goes beyond the natural world we perceive and into the interior of the artists’ hearts and imaginations. As each artist escapes the commonplace, wanders down memory lane, and imagines what can be in their mind's eye, new realities are born.
Within these contemporary interior panoramas, Touchstone artists share their unique perspectives in paint, sculpture, hand-pulled prints, photography, and collage. The medium is not the message – while every medium is explored to create its own offering, it is the guiding concept behind the choice of medium that will transport you. This is a WVSA 3rd Thursday event and is free and open to the public. WVSA is located at 16th and L Streets, NW.
