Millard Fuller Memorial Celebration March 14, 2009

The Fuller family and Fuller Center staff are pleased to announce that a special memorial service and celebration honoring our beloved Millard Fuller and his life’s work will be held Saturday, March 14th 2009 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. The public is invited and welcome to attend.

The celebration service will be held in the Horizon Sanctuary, the newest addition to this historic (1886) church, where the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., once co-pastored with his father. The Fuller family and The Fuller Center for Housing were graciously invited to use the sanctuary by Ebenezer’s current senior pastor, Rev. Raphael G. Warnock.

Not only did Millard Fuller have the honor of preaching at this magnificent church in December 1993, he was also the 1992 recipient of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Award.
We are also very pleased to announce that Millard’s longtime friend and supporter, former Habitat for Humanity board member and fellow world-renowned charismatic speaker, Dr. Anthony Campolo, will be the principal spokesperson for the celebration.
