I will not being attending this event. I signed up for a class at the end of May and, even though I was the only person registered for it, the organizer did not cancel it until this past Saturday, less than a week before it was scheduled. I tried to obtain a refund for another class that I had signed a friend up for (at the same time as my class, so that she'd have something to do) and I was told I could not receive a refund because it wasn't within the deadline for cancellations.
I find it sad and a bit ironic that they have had my money for over a month and are able to cancel on me with little notice, but I cannot obtain a refund. I've talked to my credit card company and the BBB, so hopefully it will be resolved soon.
I was really looking forward to supporting the vendors at this fair, but I'll be skipping the event altogether instead because of how this has been handled.
