Midwest Ballet Theatre’s Annual Performance of “The Nutcracker” at the Tivoli

Downers Grove, IL— Classic Cinemas invites you to embark on a magical adventure where toys become larger than life during Midwest Ballet Theatre’s highly acclaimed production of “The Nutcracker,” presented at the beautifully restored Tivoli Theatre, located at 5021 Highland Avenue in downtown Downers Grove. The annual performance of the acclaimed troupe will take place Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 1:30 p.m. on November 13th, 14th, 20th and 21st, 2010.

Ticket prices range from $13 to $15 per person and can be purchased through the Midwest Ballet’s Web site, www.midwestballet.org. Group rates are available for groups of ten or more people for all performances except the November 21st performance. Tickets will be on sale starting September 15th, 2010.

The talented young performers of the Midwest Ballet are dancing the full-length ballet, based on the original Tchaikovsky libretto from the 19th century, together with guest artists from American Ballet Theatre and the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago. The dancers will be led by artistic director and choreographer Mim Eichmann.
