MidSouthCon is presented by Mid-South Science and Fiction Conventions, Inc. a 501 (c) (3) not for profit educational organization. Our prime focus is literacy and education. To that end we hold an annual convention in Memphis, TN. For over 26 years our convention has brought numerous authors, editors, scientists, and artists to Memphis for conferences, panels, art displays, etc. We also hold a free mini-conference within our convention for educators and librarians, which included panels by award winning authors and educators on the topics of education in the future and the use of SF (science fiction) resources in the classroom.
