Mid-Winter Woolly Repair Shop January 29, 2011

Patch up your sweaters, scarves and mittens at the Mid-Winter Woolly Repair Shop. Maybe some leftovers made their mark on your cardigan, or moths had their way with your favorite wool hat. Celebrate repair by wool felting patches over post-holiday holes, stains and tears. Make it subtle or make it bold.

During the drop-in repair shop you’ll learn simple felting techniques while enjoying a delicious cup of joe at Novo’s coffee roastery. Bring as many items as you’d like to repiar; cost is $2 per piece (all supplies provided). If you get hooked on the idea, affordable take home repair kits will be for sale. All ages welcome.

Have extra wool items to donate? We’ll also be patching woollies for local shelters.
