Mid-Autumn Moon Festival September 27, 2009

Highlights of the most popular Asian family holiday, the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival, include cultural harvesting and lantern dances performed by the Hoang Anh dance group,a traditional holiday display and silent auction to benefit the Circle of Giving. Children and families will have the opportunity to learn about the moon tales from the Asian Tellers, make a storybook, participate in a lantern making contest, play twilight games, enjoy a taste of moon cake, and join in the lantern parade through Rice Park.
