Michigan Opera Theater : The Mikado October 20, 2010

Set in the fictitious town of Titipu, Japan, 'The Mikado' is a satire of bureaucratic society gone haywire. The hilarious and memorable score contains some of the best-loved music by Gilbert and Sullivan, including 'Three Little Maids,' 'The Flowers that Bloom in the Spring' and 'I've Got a Little List.' The performance will commemorate the 125th anniversary of 'The Mikado,' as well as the works' appearance on the MOT stage for the first time in nearly 20 years.
