Michigan Opera Theater : Carmina Burana/The Medium October 16, 2011

Michigan Opera starts the season with an all-new production of 'Carmina Burana' like you've never seen before. The MOT Chorus combines with Rackham Symphony Choir and the MOT Children's Chorus to create an ensemble of over 100 to sing Carl Orff's powerful "O Fortuna!" The chorus is joined by soloists, acrobats from Cirque du Soleil, and Eisenhower Dance Ensemble to create a dazzling multi-sensory spectacle. Carmina is paired with Menotti's dramatic thriller 'The Medium.'
