Michigan in the Civil War July 17, 2011

"Behind the Lines: Horses, Hardtack, Heartbeats & Heroes". This family-friendly exhibit takes you behind the lines of the battlefront to reveal the back-story of the Union army experience, highlighting the important contributions made by Michigan residents. You will see an authentic Civil War tent, uniforms, drums, flags and meet a variety of Washtenaw County soldiers including Michigan's youngest drummer boy. Hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 12 Noon-4 PM and by appointment, call 734-662-9092.
