La Divina Management is very pleased to formally announce that we are sponsoring a Burlesque workshop featuring the super talented Michelle Lamour. We are bringing Ms. Lamour in from Chicago especially for this event. The workshop will take place between 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Saturday March 21, 2009. The Teacher:
Michelle L'amour (Miss Exotic World 2005) has made her name internationally over the last six years as an award winning burlesque performer seen by millions of theater and television audiences. As an instructor, she's taught over 2500 women through her workshops and classes. In 2008, L'amour released a successful instructional DVD series called "Tools of the Tease" that are available through her website . Whether tearing up the stage and small screen, or being featured in "Women's Health" and as an instructor for the Berman Center , Michelle L'amour is bridging the gap for thousands of women who want to know how to feel and be sexy. Ms. Lamour is a nationally know classic burlesque performer. She is the 2005 Miss Exotic World title holder. Miss Exotic World 2005 , Michelle L'amour , is one of the premiere names in modern burlesque. Since 2002, she's been seen by more than 50 million people on four continents as a result of her awe inspiring performances on stage and television (Semi Finalist for "America's Got Talent " - Season One). Acclaimed by legends like Dixie Evans and Bunny Yeager (who featured Michelle in her most recent book ), featured in international documentaries from Canada to Italy, and highly sought after as a burlesque instructor, she's teased from Sao Paulo to Switzerland, Toronto to London, Los Angeles to Paris.
Miss L'amour is the CEO of The L'amour Group, which is responsible for producing critically acclaimed shows like "Big Sexy Show " and "Lipshtick ". She has her own successful book of photographs called "The Most Naked Woman ". As an instructor, she's taught more than 2500 women, been featured in magazines like Woman's Health and is often called upon by Dr. Laura Berman (of Showtime's "Sexual Healing") to lend her talents to women struggling with their self esteem.
