Michael Spiro Latin Jazz Concert/Clinic May 10, 2008

Join legendary Bay-Area Percussionist Michael Spiro for a Latin Jazz Concert and Clinic as part of the Visiting Artist Series at Deanza College. The concert will be held in room A11 in the Choral Hall.

Also appearing will be top musicians in the Latin Jazz Idiom: Paul Van Wageningen (drums), David Belove (Bass), Murray Low (piano) and Trombonist/Composer Wayne Wallace (Trombone).

Michael Spiro is an internationally recognized percussionist, recording artist, and educator, known specifically for his work in the Latin music field.
He has appeared on thousands of recordings, given lectures and workshops at countless colleges, and has produced several albums as a leader as well.
