Once in Los Angeles, Michael began writing ang performing for the Acme Comedy Theater and soon after, his career took off. He performed at such noted festivals as the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and the Bass Ale Comedy Festival in New York City, while he continues to headline top clubs from coast to coast.
Michael is currently a writer on the hit ABC comedy series The George Lopez Show and was a political commentator for the AOL Election Guide 2004. Earlier this year, he served as a writer on the first ever animated "topical situation comedy", This Just In, airing on Spike TV. He has appeared on Comedy Central's Premium Blend and was recently a semi-finalist on Star Search.
