Mercury Baroque's First Annual Gala March 28, 2009

Now in its eighth season, Mercury Baroque has become a dynamic member of the Houston arts community whose last performance packed the house. Mercury Baroque announces its first annual gala, “Baroque to Bongos: Vivaldi, Tango & Mango,” which will be held on Saturday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m. on the Wortham Center’s Brown Stage.

The “tango chic” evening includes a concert by Mercury Baroque, drinks, dinner, a tango performance and a live auction followed by dancing to music by Mango Punch. Proceeds from the gala will benefit the outreach programs, concerts and operations of Mercury Baroque.
