Mendocino Art Center's "Art and Abalone" November 11, 2011

Enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres, fine wine and fabulous art while supporting the Mendocino Art Center at “Art and Abalone,” a special fundraising event, Friday, November 11, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Mendocino Art Center.

“Art and Abalone” features a delectable assortment of hors d’oeuvres provided by area restaurants, highlighted by abalone cakes prepared by Little River Inn’s Executive Chef Marc Dym; wine tastings, served in a commemorative Mendocino Art Center wine glass, poured by a selection of Mendocino County’s finest wineries; and a special art exhibit paying homage to the distinctive wine, mushrooms and abalone of Mendocino County.

Advance tickets, priced at $20 for current Mendocino Art Center members and $25 for non-members, are available on the Mendocino Art Center Web site, http://www.MendocinoArtCenter.org, or by calling 707-937-5818, ext. 10. Tickets are $30 at the door. All proceeds benefit the Mendocino Art Center.
