'Memory's Touch' Exhibition & Reception with Curators' Conversation June 3, 2010

Opening reception Thur, June 3, 5-7pm; Exhibit runs through July 28, 2010

Curated by art historians Karen Schifman and Denise Lugo, the exhibition features work by 19 women artists of visual translations of remembrances of cherished times, painful recollections and the once forgotten in a variety of media including painting, photography, assemblage, artists books, ceramics and fiber artworks.

Participating artists: Ulla Barr, Lucy Blake-Elahi, Elizabeth Bloom, Marie Cenkner, Molly Enholm, Rosalie Friis-Ross, Doro Hofmann, Ann Isolde, Sandra Lauterbach, Meg Madison, Carmen Monne Martin, Penny McElroy, Freyda Miller, Sandra Mueller, Avinger Nelson, Sue Ann Robinson, Orly Ofry Ruben, Deborah Thomas, and Elizabeth Wallace.

The opening reception on June 3rd includes a Curators' Conversation. The exhibition runs through July 28, 2010 and the gallery is open Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 pm.
