Melplash Show August 20, 2008

The South West's premier agricultural exhibition, occurs annually on the last Thursday before the August Bank holiday. The first show was held in 1847.

This year's special attractions include Medieval Jousting by Legends, the official parachute display team of both The Parachute Regiment and The British Army ‘The Red Devils’ and the Royal Navy hot air balloon, which will be lifting off around 6pm (weather permitting).
