Melplash Show August 26, 2009

The South West's premier agricultural exhibition, occurs annually on the last Thursday before the August Bank holiday. The first show was held in 1847.

This year visitors will be entertained by a spectacular air display by The Yakovlevs, who will be thrilling the audience with their tight formations, graceful aerobatic manoeuvres and death defying head to head passes, and a ‘Wild West Show’ which takes inspiration from accounts of the Buffalo Bill Congress of Rough Riders during the 1880s.
