Two of Australia's foremost experts on web accessibility, Russ Weakley and Roger Hudson, are in town giving workshops on CSS and accessibility. Both have kindly agreed to give a free talk to the Melbourne Web Standards Group on Thursday, May 3.
Roger Hudson will explore ways of classifying information including the use of facets which can provide web users with a variety of information retrieval starting points. Roger will also look at the growing demand by
users for greater control over how information is classified and the emerging role of tags, tag clouds and folksonomies.
Russ Weakley will discuss a range of ideas that challenge the way we structure web site content in order to allow users more control of their own experience.
