Level 1, 257 Collins Street
Melbourne, Victoria 3000

The evening is a "double header":

  • Lisa Herrod from Access Testing is coming down from Sydney, and will be presenting a talk entitled Usability for the Multi-disciplinary Team

  • Also, Dave Roberts and Sarah Drechsler from Museum Victoria will be giving a talk entitled The lifecycle of the Caught and Coloured web site, in which they will be talking about the site that was the winner of the recent McFarlane Prize for excellence in Australian Web Design.

It's going to be a big night, and as always there will be door prizes from SitePoint and O'Reilly, so remember to bring a business card along to go in the draw!

For catering purposes, please register for this event via the Melbourne WSG online calendar. Click on the event and select the "Register for this event" link, where you will be asked to enter your name and an email address.

After the talks, port80 drinks and socialising at Charles Dickens tavern across the road

Other Information

There is no cost to attend. No, really! Food and beverages are kindly being made available thanks to SitePoint. SitePoint is a Melbourne-based company who, when not handing out free pizza, publish articles and books on best practice web development, with a focus on web standards. Their discussion forums are also home to the web's most active web development community, so I encourage you to check them out at www.sitepoint.com if you haven't already.

Also a huge thankyou to Access Testing for bringing Lisa down from Sydney for this event. Access Testing is Australia's leading independent technology testing organisation.
