Come to a special screening of a new film about Mumia, the most recognised death row inmate in the world today. In 1982, he was tried and convicted for the murder of Police Officer Daniel Faulkner. Since then his case has become one of the most contested legal cases in history. A former Black Panther and now renowned author, he is hailed as “the voice of the voiceless.” Be inspired by the resistance of Mumia Abu-Jamal — you can’t jail the spirit!

Peter Murray, a campaigner for Mumia’s freedom since the ’80s, will introduce the film and discuss how to build a movement to free Mumia and other class struggle political prisoners.
