Meijer and Brookfield Zoo 75th Anniversary! June 29, 2009

Hear the animals roar as Meijer sponsors a summer event that will have everyone standing in line to see what the commotion is all about. Meijer, the original one-stop shopping destination, partners up with Brookfield Zoo to throw a joint 75th Anniversary Bash. To mark the occasion, Meijer will cover the cost of admission for three days – June 29, 30 and July 1 – for children age 11 and younger as a special gift from all 11 Chicago area Meijer stores. General zoo admission is $12 for adults and $8 children and seniors 65 and over. In addition, Meijer will have a birthday cake for everyone to enjoy and special treats for the animals as well on Wednesday, July 1, 2009.
