Meet Me in Canal National Historical Park May 17, 2006

Please join us for an evening hike (on level terrain) led by Sierra Club member and volunteer Sally Strain. All are welcome -- meet at the entrance to the Capital Crescent Trail, just upriver from Key Bridge along the Potomac River shoreline (37th & Water/K Streets next to the Washington Canoe Club). We will visit the site proposed for the Georgetown University boathouse and the surrounding area; walk for a mile to see the land Georgetown University would swap for the C&O gateway site; and end with a visit to 34th & and Water/K Streets to see the site proposed for the George Washington University boathouse (and preferred location for the Georgetown University boathouse immediately next to it).

All participants must sign a Liability Waiver prior to participation.
