Medway Armed Forces Day Celebrations June 29, 2013

A free admission event featuring tri-service displays by Regular, Reserve and Cadet units of the armed forces. There will be an armed forces and veterans parade and drumhead service, a large funfair, have-a-go activities, an Armed Forces and Veterans Hospitality Pavilion, arena displays, historic military vehicles and military heritage displays. A major feature will be displays of sapper activities presented by the Royal School of Military Engineering. The event will carry on into the evening when it will culminate with a suitably patriotic musical finale. The event is being held on the historic Chatham Garrison Exercise Ground and within walking distance of the Royal Engineers Museum, Fort Amherst and the Great Lines Naval War Memorial.
