Composer/pianist Nina Ott leads her Latin jazz quintet in a program of all original and improvised material. Ott and bassist Chris Lopes put together an array of their own compositions of Brazilian and Afro-Cuban infused jazz. Arrangements of composers Milton Nascimento, Edu Lobo and Thelonious Monk will also be featured. The evening will feature drummer Ralph Peterson, conguero Equie Castrillo and Donny MacCaslin on flute and sax.
