LEARN WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED IN A MEDIA CAREER!
College student? Media professional? Get tips from mentors working in today's media jobs!

College students and media professionals interested in careers in broadcast, digital, and allied media are invited to attend MEDIA WORLD, sponsored by the Bay Area Media Network (BAMN), on Thursday, April 2, from 7:00 p.m. till 9:30 p.m. at the Valpak Manufacturing Center Community Room in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals representing local media companies, including the Poynter Institute, Tampa Tribune, National Public Radio, Bright House Networks, WMOR, WTSP, WVEA/WFTT, 22Squared and OSI Restaurant Partners.
Short sessions conducted in a speed-mentoring format allow participants to pose their most important questions. Individuals seeking to pursue this industry, or professionals seeking career advice, will benefit from mentors insights into regional media operations.
Tickets are $6 for students and $11 for adults. Seating is limited and advance registration is required.
