ICA at MECA, 522 Congress Street

MECA's Annual Art Auction was started by students in 1974 in an effort to raise funds for fellow students in need of financial aid. Their generosity of spirit paved the way for subsequent art auctions, each year growing in terms of funds raised through sales and sponsorships, the number of people attending and the range of artists giving their best work to assist art students pursuing a degree at MECA.

Proceeds from the auction provide $100,000 of new revenues to support MECA's mission and to help ensure scholarship funding for BFA students dependent on financial aid.
