Stanton Warriors @ Love
w/ DJ Smallchange

Stanton Warriors make people go ape-shit. Plain and simple.
Back in the day, they took garage and twisted it beyond all recognition, dropping speaker shattering bass lines and massive beats. Their 2001 Stanton Sessions release blew out the stratosphere, making them the biggest selling breaks album of all time. Riding on the heels of such massive adoration, they went on to work with music heavyweights such as Missy Elliot, Fat Boy Slim, Basement Jaxx,Mylo, Busta Rhymes, Big Daddy Kane, Twista and The Beatnuts.

Its fair to say that the Stanton Warriors laid down the framework for this musical era as we know it, where techno, hip hop, disco, funk and electro all walk hand-in-hand. These days, their dj sets are legendary for incorporating exclusive original tracks mixed with homemade edits / remixes of cutting edge sounds -- spliced and diced from underground house to abstract hip hop and everything in between. A blended melting pot of low-down booty/electro/punk that gets people leaping out of their skin. Its that's serious.

DJ Smallchange opens for the Warriors, with his deep-crate selections and midas touch.
