Meals-on-Wheels “Dine with the Chefs Fundraising Party” September 28, 2008

Come join us for an evening of cocktails, entertainment and cuisine from some of the finest chefs in San Diego County at the Meals-on-Wheels Dine with the Chefs Fundraising Party. For over 20 years, the event raises the critical funds to sustain this non-profit organization’s efforts to battle the senior hunger crisis in San Diego County. Guests will enjoy delicious food stations created and hosted by the Chefs de Cuisine, a group of San Diego-based executive chefs, culinary professionals and restaurant owners. Entertainment features the performers of Wayne Foster Entertainment. There’s a live auction, hosted by Bill Menish of Menish Productions. Fabulous auction items include Summer Sailin’ Package boat cruise with Summer Pops Tickets, a private In-Home Celebrity Chef party for eight, Travel and Get-Away packages.

Sunday September 28 at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina, located at 1380 Harbor Island Drive. Doors open at 5 p.m. and tickets cost $150 each, with all proceeds benefiting the San Diego Meals-on-Wheels programs.
