Kristine Marchese pounds to the beat of her own drum with this funny and entertaining one woman show dealing with family, stereotypes, opportunity and luck. Carrie Portella, exceptional writer and extraordinary receptionist, finds herself painfully unemployed after an office party mishap. She is left with no other choice than to move back home with her parents. In a desperate attempt to find work to flee her opinionated mother, Carrie applies to an American online job posting. She finds an ad that is looking to hire a ghostwriter for an upcoming biographical writing project. Before she knows it, Carrie and her family are thrust into the rock n' roll world, working for Tommy Lee on his new book. Carrie’s family supports her newly appointed position, however, she can’t help but feel that her mother is none to happy about the decision. Much to Carrie’s surprise, it turns out her biggest supporter is in fact her mother, but is it too late to acknowledge the efforts of her biggest fan?
