McDONALD’S L.A.T.E. RIDE July 15, 2007

Event Name: McDonald’s L.A.T.E. Ride (Long After Twilight Ends)

Event Summary: …Join up to 10,000 bicyclists led by Ronald McDonald on a 25-mile ride through Chicago's neighborhoods and along the lakefront. Cycle past skyscrapers, hear "Opaah!" in Greek Town, cruise through the North Side, wave to onlookers, and ride along the beautiful lakefront paths normally closed at this late hour. It’s a leisure ride, but there is a prize at the finish line. McDonald’s iced coffee and breakfast at Buckingham Fountain, while watching the amazing sunrise over Lake Michigan! All for a great cause, benefiting Friends of the Parks.

Event Location: Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park at Congress and Columbus Drive (500 S. Columbus Drive).

Event Date: Early Sunday, July 15, 2007 (starts at 1:30 a.m……after midnight of July 14)

Come join the fun at midnight for bicycle helmet and bike decoration contests, free food and music, and more!

Cost: $40, $35 pre-registration, benefiting Friends of the Parks
